After building a number of photographic works which used a mirror
In order to make a self portrait of a camera, a more elaborate method was
devised for a camera to create an auto-portrait. A sinar 5×4 plate camera
was carefully cut in half using a diamond blade bandsaw, the lens was perfectly
cut in half and still functions. The bellows were sealed using black card on
each half. One half of the camera is placed upside down in order to create the
perfect auto-portrait where one camera half photographs the other half simultaneously.
