Mamiya C330

This was one of the first experiments made by shooting a bullet through a camera whilst it photographs the event itself in a mirror. A small ladies handgun was used with a specially made sensor which can be seen fixed to the barrel of the gun. As the gun was fired the sensor triggered the flash gun and could be adjusted by adding a delay of time measured in milliseconds. In this way the position of the bullet could be calculated to within a few centimeters. The spark from the gun barrel arcing to the camera is the release of static energy due to the friction of the bullet as it goes through the barrel.
