Horizontal Hold
inspired by the original experiment of executive toy HH now employs two axial motions and a larger black and white television set and used a small wireless transmitter to relay the signal from a VHS tape to the television. The photograph here shows the work recently completed in the studio in Greenwich, London. The initial public display of the work did not go to plan and during the installation of the work at the henry moore foundation in Leeds the work exploded in a cloud of smoke just several minutes before the opening. This was due to the brass rotating contacts being unable to carry enough current for the television.
